Libby Coker MP today welcomed Prime Minister Anthony Albanese back to Corangamite to announce that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will invest in major upgrades at the Drysdale Recreation Reserve for the Drysdale Football Netball Club.
This $5.45 million dollar election commitment would support the Club with its ongoing commitment to providing top-tier sporting infrastructure for its members and the wider community.
The proposed upgrades include the construction of two new acrylic hard courts with competition standard lighting and spectator seating as well as new netball club rooms.
These improvements aim to address current issues such as non-compliant run-offs, poor surface quality, and inadequate amenities, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable environment for all users.
This investment will ensure the facilities are ready for play and builds on this Government’s track record of delivering for our community.
Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
