Creative ideas came from the many diverse entries received in the Inverleigh Youth Precinct Vision Competition, Federal MP Libby Coker said today.
The Inverleigh community is working hard to gain support for a proposed Youth Precinct in the town.
Young people in Inverleigh are passionate about having a place to connect, ride bikes, skateboard, play sport and just come together, Ms Coker said.
Thats why I backed a competition seeking concepts and ideas from the young people of Inverleigh of what a youth precinct in their town should look like.
It was an impressive entry by Jack Stones which got the judges eye. Jack is now the proud owner of a brand new mountain bike.
The many entries included elements such as a bike track, skate park and social basketball facilities.
The standard of entries was so high that I also presented highly commended certificates to Manon Guijt, Harry Weiler and Jasper Willoughby.
Well done to everyone who entered.
