An Albanese Labor Government will provide $39,210 to help deliver outdoor fitness equipment for the students at Surf Coast Secondary College.
The funding commitment was announced this week to staff and students at the College in Torquay by Member for Corangamite, Libby Coker MP.
The funding is part of Labor’s plan to improve school facilities across the nation to help keep students and school staff safe and get kids’ education back on track after all the COVID disruptions.
Quotes attributable to Libby Coker:
“Surf Coast Secondary College needs the outdoor equipment as part of its fitness training programs and I’m pleased to commit to contribute funding if a Labor government is elected.
“I know that the College places a significant effort into educating students on developing their physical health through exercise training.
“This equipment will help to ensure students can train on quality equipment that gives them the best chance of enjoying and excelling at fitness programs.”
